We seek a technician to install leading-edge tech solutions for an Ann Arbor startup company. About The Company BioVigil BioVigil has developed a unique and innovative solution that protects hospital patients and employees. Their device reminds employees to sanitize their hands each time they enter a patient room. The device sends data to the cloud where it is compiled and shared for safety improvements. Main Responsibilities Installation and on-site configuration of system into client sites (hospitals and health care facilities) Conduct site assessments to plan installation Interact with hospital administrative and nursing staff to schedule installation and coordinate deployment activities Perform system maintenance and on-site service Management of materials and supplies to facilitate installation in client sites Collaboration and troubleshooting of manufacturing and production processes Production assembly of system components (electrical and mechanical) Troubleshooting and repair of RMA electronics This position requires up to 75% of time traveling to customer sites About You Qualifications Strong technical aptitude; comfortable with technology products Familiarity with operating hand and power tools (soldering, drill press, etc) Flexibility to travel Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a healthcare environment Strong project management skills Willingness to conform to hospital entry requirements, as needed (i.e. vaccinations, background checks, etc.) Familiarity with commercial building construction and/or hospital systems is a plus
