Do you enjoy having fun and connecting with new friends? Dash Away Weekends create a place for all of this and so much more. What is a Dash Away? Dash Away Weekends are unlike any other women’s retreat you’ve ever experienced. They are unique, intimate weekends that are focused on true, interactive connection with Jesus, having loads of fun with others, and plenty of space to recharge and refresh. It is not a conference. In fact, the only agenda is to help you encounter Jesus and experience healing and freedom in your life while also building healthy connections with others. You will experience a restful time in God's presence, enjoy intimate times of worship, and receive practical tools to help you as you move forward in your relationship with Jesus. Oh, and you’ll have a ton of fun too! Who is Dash Away for? Dash Away Weekends are designed for those who want a deeper connection with Jesus, who desire more freedom in their lives, who enjoy connecting with new friends and having fun, and who want to be more connected to who they truly are as beloved daughters. Whether you have been walking with Jesus for decades, or if you’re intrigued and want to test the waters, Dash Away is for you. What can I Expect? The weekend is very casual and loosely structured. Comfortable clothes are appropriate. No make up required. And you can also leave your cute, but uncomfortable shoes at home. Our schedule is relaxed. On Saturday afternoon, there will be time for you to rest and refuel, and enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe. We will also have a trained team of heart healing ministers available to help you connect with Jesus in a one-on-one ministry session. Amazing, transforming, refreshing, etc… It was beyond my expectations.” FAQs What does the registration fee include? Why does it cost so much? Your registration covers the cost of the retreat plus your room and meals. You will get 2 nights in lake front, hotel style accommodation with 2 Q beds and private bath (Note: anywhere else in Tahoe during the summer, you'd be paying a minimum of $200+ per night) and 5 amazing meals provided for us by the Zephyr Point staff in their lake view dining room. Can I make payments? We will consider payments on a case by case basis, and ask that you use payments only if absolutely necessary as there will be an additional admin fee. If you require a payment plan, contact us at [email protected]. Are there scholarships available? We hope so, but it depends on scholarship funds coming in. We can't make any guarantees. We currently have a scholarship fund open and will be able to offer them if/when available. Scholarship can be used toward retreat costs only. Unless there are extreme circumstances, each participant will be responsible to pay for her own lodging and meal package ($200). *Have some extra cash to help someone else take advantage of this amazing weekend retreat? Scholarships will be awarded on a case by case basis based on available funds.What are accommodations like? Lodging will be hotel style in a lake side lodge on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Each room has 2 queen beds and private bath. Linens are provided. (**Lodging price is based on double occupancy.) Can I choose a roommate? Certainly! Each room will have 2 ladies in it. You are welcome to request a roommate for the weekend when you register. Is there a minimum age requirement to attend the event? Minimum age is 16. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Transportation is on your own. Parking is available near the entrance to Zephyr Point. A few ADA spots are available if needed. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Please email [email protected] if you have questions. What's the cancelation policy? Full refunds available until May 31, 2022 minus $100 nonrefundable deposit. June 1 to June 30, cancellations will be handled on a case by case basis. After July 1, no refunds will be issued. ** Only exception is if you are unable to attend the retreat at the last minute due to illness. If you have the slightest hint of not feeling well, even up to the day of the retreat, we ask that you please stay home. For this reason only, we will issue a 100% deposit, less the $100 nonrefundable deposit. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. You do not need to print a ticket. Can I update my registration information? Yes. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes. Simply email [email protected] to make changes. Can I bring my paddle board or kayak and enjoy the lake? Yes! Although we can't check in to our rooms/meeting space until 4pm Friday and we must be checked out of our space/rooms by Sunday at 11am, we are welcome to arrive early Friday and stay later on Sunday and enjoy the lake. Also built into the retreat is a nice chunk of free time Saturday afternoon where you can enjoy what the retreat center and lake offer.
