NRA CCW Class - 16 hour, 2 day course 07/30/22 & 07/31/22 You must attend both days. You must attend both days July 30th, and July 31st, 2022 This class teaches the skills, knowledge and attitude necessary to carry a concealed firearm for personal defense. Course topics include: Firearm SafetyPistol NomenclatureSelecting a Pistol for Self-DefenseBasic Defensive Pistol SkillsDrawing from ConcealmentMind SetLoading and Stoppage Remediation Carry ModesPistol ConcealmentFirearm CleaningLive Fire Training DrillsIncludes classroom Instruction & live fire drills Students will receive reference books, and at successful completion of the class will receive a course completion certificate NO AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM. Please leave your firearm and ammunition secured in your locked vehicle until instructed to retrieve it. California law requires you to transport your firearm in a locked container What to Bring: Minimum 300 Round Count of Factory New Ammunition *No Reloads or Steel Core*.Your Handgun & manual2-3 extra magazines or speed loadersEye & Ear Protection (We recommend electronic hearing protection)Gun BeltStrong Side Holster* We recommend a kydex type holster. It must completely cover the trigger guard. Do not bring a flimsy nylon holster! Your holster must not collapse on itself. Mag pouchessmall flashlightA cover garment (shirt/vest/jacket that conceals your firearm)Students should bring a highlighter, Pen, Pencil and paper for note taking A sack lunch. We have bottled water and sodas available for 50 cents each. For your safety on the range closed toe shoes and a ribbed neck tee shirt are required. No scoop necks or tank tops are allowed. A ball cap is recommended. NO FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM. THIS INCLUDES CCW and LEO. NO EXCEPTIONS! Leave your firearm and ammunition secured in your locked vehicle until an Instructor directs you to retrieve it. FYI - California law requires you to transport your firearm in a locked case. This class is for law-abiding citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state or local laws.
