JOB TITLE: Forklift Operators LOCATION: Sarasota, FL PAY RATE: 1st shift: Mon-Fri: 6a – 3:30p every other Saturday worked as well (OT) - Pay rate: $13.50/hour 2nd shift: Mon-Fri: 3:30p – 12a every other Saturday worked as well (OT) - Pay rate: $14.50/ hour WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday - 1st & 2nd Shift (Overtime Available) *Position is available to start immediately ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operates forklift to move baled recycled material and to load and unload trucks. Assist in the operation of baler Performs routine service and preventative maintenance on equipment to maintain good working order. Performs manual tasks and labor while not operating equipment as required. Assists mechanics and vehicle service attendants in minor overhaul and repair work. Completes minor repair work on equipment. Performs related duties as required. Assist with other duties as requested by supervisor REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent Three to five years experience Familiarity with OSHA standards Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions in the operation of light or medium equipment. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English Ability to routinely lift 30 or more pounds Good hand eye coordination Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and twist at the waist Ability to tolerate heat Apply now -
