Sign up for COVID-19 email updates City Facilities Closed to Public as State Issues Two-Week COVID-19 Freeze The State has issued a two-week freeze from November 18 to December 2. See impacts to City facilities. The State of Oregon has issued a two-week freeze from November 18 to December 2 to stop the rapid spread of COVID-19 across Oregon. Visit our COVID-19 webpage or the State of Oregon website for more information.These risk reduction measures are critical in limiting the spread of COVID-19, reducing risk in communities more vulnerable to serious illness and death, and helping conserve hospital capacity so that all Oregonians can continue to have access to quality care. City Closures In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community, the Hillsboro Public Library is providing express pick up of holds, but no other services at this time. The Hillsboro Civic Center and SHARC will be closed to the public beginning Wednesday, November 18, with an expected reopening on Wednesday, December 2. These closures follow the direction from the Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Governor Kate Brown. Over time, the City will reevaluate facility closures with guidance from the State. Please maintain at least six feet of physical distancing and wear a face covering in public spaces when adequate physical distancing is not possible.
