TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced. On Monday, Alex Smeriglio claimed a winning "10X Cash 15th Edition" ticket purchased at SK Mart on Main Street in Trumbull. The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May 2021, and as of Tuesday, 58 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed. More than 5.2 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
