Press release from the City of Spokane: 2022-03-02 Drive-by shooting results in the death of a man SPD Patrol officers responded to the lower South Hill this morning - 03/02/22 - about 5:15 on a call of a drive-by shooting. The victim was pronounced dead shortly after officers arrived at the apartment complex in the 1100 block of W. 7th Ave. This is an active investigation and at the time of this writing, no suspect has been apprehended. Police do not believe this was a random shooting thus there does not appear to be an ongoing threat to the public.
