Here are the top three stories in Roanoke today: Roanoke Tours Inc. is now offering tours of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Tour attendees will have the opportunity to see and learn about the beautiful rock churches of the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are six historical rock churches along the tour. (WSLS 10)A Roanoke woman has regained her sense of hearing after receiving donated hearing aids. Marakot Thach, 22, lost her hearing in seventh grade due to an ear infection and then lost it again when her hearing aids were lost two years ago. Without insurance, Thach was unable to replace the hearing aids. Miracle-Ear has given her and 18,000 other people their hearing back. (WDBJ)A new creative space for Roanoke artists and creatives opens downtown. Verses aims to create a space where everyone feels welcome while getting in touch with their creative side. Visitors can enjoy paint nights, yoga, writing, and poetry. The idea came to Toya Jones in the middle of the pandemic's desperate need for creativity.
