BROOKLINE, MA — Arctic Glacier, LLC, a leading provider of premium ice products and related services, has acquired Brookline Ice Company, a bulk ice manufacturing, dry ice, and distribution business, according to a news release. This transaction will allow the company to further build on its capability to serve customers across North America. "Arctic Glacier is pleased to offer our premium ice products to the retail, hospitality and commercial businesses of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and surrounding areas," said Richard Wyckoff, CEO and President of Arctic Glacier, in a statement. Brookline Ice Company, owned and operated by the Signore Family, has provided daily delivery service of quality bulk, cocktail, and dry ice to many retail, food service, and hospitality industries in Greater Boston since the early 1900s. "The Brookline Ice Company is proud of its 100 plus year tradition providing ice products and services, to fulfill the needs of the hospitality, retail and commercial businesses of Massachusetts. Arctic Glacier's acquisition of Brookline Ice Company follows their October 2021 acquisition of Getchell Bros in Bangor and Sanford, Maine. The combination of these two transactions, along with the ice company's production facilities in Rutland, Vermont and Albany, New York, enables Arctic Glacier to offer direct service of their certified, food-safe packaged ice to customers throughout the greater New England area.
