Here are the top three stories today in Buffalo: A JetBlue pilot at Buffalo Niagara International Airport was pulled from his plane after a breathalyzer test revealed his blood alcohol content (BAC) to be over double the legal limit. According to multiple reports, pilot James Clifton was removed after a TSA official noticed he was "acting drunk," at which time he was immediately given a breathalyzer test. His BAC reached 0.17, more than two times higher than New York's legal limit of 0.08. (Buffalo Patch)The Buffalo Common Council has unanimously approved Joseph Gramaglia as the next Commissioner of the Buffalo Police Department. The appointment comes following the retirement of Byron Lockwood last week.
