HERNDON, VA — To shine a light on the academic achievements of college students from Herndon, Patch shares information provided the students' families and Merit News. Brian Longino of Herndon was named to the University of Mississippi's fall 2021 honor roll lists. Longino was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00. Eileen Eidelberg of Herndon has been named was one the more than 5,000 students named to the fall 2021 dean's list at Ohio University University College in Athens, Ohio. Eidelberg is a student in the Ohio University Scripps College of Communication. To be name to the dean's list, a student must average a 3.5 grade point average for the semester and carry 15 or more credit hours. The following students were among the more than 1,800 students who graduated with bachelor's, master's or doctorate degrees from Ohio University for fall semester 2021: Adam Dineen of Herndon graduated with a MACC (Master of Accountancy) from Ohio University's College of Business.Kimberly Tam of Herndon graduated with a MBA (MBA-Finance Concentration) from Ohio University's College of Business.Isabella Riccardi of Oak Hill was recently initiated into the Virginia Commonwealth University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. The Society welcomed 265 new initiates from nine universities during January 2022. The following students were named to the dean's list for fall 2021 semester at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia: Mohini Sudhakar of HerndonAlexandra Toner of Herndon To be named to the dean's list at HU, students must earn at least a 3.5 average on a 4.0 grading scale. Lauren Hollis of Oak Hill, a student majoring in professional writing and information design, was named to the dean's honor list for fall 2021 at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours. The following students were named to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts: Noha Awais of Herndon, Class of 2024Matt Holsten of Herndon, Class of 2023 To be named to the deans list at Tufts, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. Radford University conferred 594 undergraduate and graduate degrees during the 2021 winter commencement exercises.
