DARIEN, IL — For the third week in a row, Darien saw a 6 percent rise in cases of those who have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the DuPage County Health Department. Specific numbers of those who have recovered from the virus are unavailable. For months, Darien had the lowest number of cases per capita among the nearby towns surveyed by Patch. But La Grange Park passed Darien in the last week, government figures show. The number of local deaths from the coronavirus remained at seven, according to the health department.
