Press release from the Albany County Government: 03/02/2022 12:02 pm Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy unveiled the new reusable grocery bag design and winner this morning at the Langan School at the Center for Disability Services. Uriah's "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" design was selected after the school entered several submissions encouraging the public to reduce our reliance on disposable paper bags and to protect the environment. The thermal insulated bags are free, available in the lobby in the county office building at 112 State Street (while supplies last) and will be distributed throughout the county.   Pictured (Uriah in middle front row with staff and classmates at The Langan School and picture of the bag).
