Description
Press release from South Washington County Schools:
December 3, 2020
Students in South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo) want to normalize talking about mental health and getting support. These young advocates are working to start conversations and end the stigma of asking for help. To get this message to peers, students created a video called "Let's Talk" that will be shared and discussed in classrooms. They want all students to know that someone will always be there for them and that they can be there for someone else too.
The video is a part of the Teens, Technology and Mental Health project funded by PrairieCare Child and Family Fund. Parents can also listen to the SoWashCo Living Online podcast to learn more about the online world and wellbeing of teens today.
This press release was produced by South Washington County Schools. The views expressed here are the author's own.
