Here are the top three stories today in Franklin: New Tennessee license plates appear to be unreadable at night by License Plate Recognition cameras, according to reports. The Tennessee Department of Revenue is working with law enforcement and camera providers on a fix. However, until then, these LPR cameras will not be able to "fight crime" or "locate missing people at night," as proponents intend them to. (WKRN)Williamson County Public Schools has announced its updated school graduation dates after voting to extend the graduation window in its February meeting. The Franklin High School graduation will now be held on May 26 at the FHS Football Stadium. Centennial High School will take place the following day May 27 in the CHS Football Stadium. (williamsonherald.com) Franklin's Williamson Medical Center has enlisted Luke & Caroline Bryan to kick off the Capital Campaign and help fund the expansion project for the facility. The project aims to strengthen the hospital's ability to provide quality healthcare for Williamson County. The project is set to begin in April 2022 with primary construction expected to be completed by 2024.
