PLEASANTON, CA — Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, enjoy some laughs of the Irish.
On March 12, Pleasanton's Firehouse Arts Center will host three Irish comedians for "The Real Irish Comedy Fest."
"Come get a blast of blarney and Irish laughter just in time for the big day," Firehouse said in its event description. "The Real Irish Comedy Fest showcases the best blend of Irish Comedic talent, accents included, and are coming to Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton for one night only!"
The show will feature Sean Finnerty, Martin Angolo, and Dave Nihill, though Firehouse said the lineup may change.
Finnerty has performed on Comedy Central, "Stand Up NBC," and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." Angolo is the host of "The Substantial Meal" podcast, and has opened for Eric Andre, Marc Maron, and Aziz Ansari. Nihill was the first Irish-born winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2018.
The show will occur right before Dublin's St. Patrick's Day weekend extravaganza, which will feature parades, dance showcases, a 5k race, an Irish marketplace, and much more.
