PLEASANTON, CA — The 4th Annual Tri-Valley Innovation Fair will be held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds March 19 from 10-5, Quest Science Center announced. Until 2022, the event was held at Livermore's Bankhead Theater.
The free event will showcase more than 50 exhibitors demonstrating the Tri-Valley's dynamic science, innovation and technology culture. Exhibitors will provide hands-on exhibits, experiments, and interactive activities designed to spark excitement about STEM to kids of all ages.
Visitors will be able to fly drones with multispectral cameras through an obstacle course, discover the science behind insect colors, design animated characters, conduct physics experiments with their phones, and much more.
"We are thrilled to return to an in-person event this year. The Alameda Fairgroundsprovides a substantial space to introduce families to the cutting-edge engineering, scienceand technology innovations that are being developed right here in the Tri-Valley," CalebCheung, chief learning officer for Quest, said in a statement. "Our goal is to provide a fun environment for kids to engage with robotics experts, engineers, scientists, creators and even an astronaut, to inspire and support the next generation of scientists."
