Description

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — Bucks County Technical High School has announced an end to the masking requirement for buses, effective immediately on Wednesday, March 2. "Given the CDC's most recent COVID guidance, students are no longer required to wear maks on buses and other school transportation," Administrative Director Leon Poeske said in a statement. The decision comes as schools across Pennsylvania begin to drop mask mandates for students and staff. Recent guidance from the CDC, as well as data showing a decline of cases in Bucks County, have given administrators reason to begin easing mask policies. "BCTHS, like most schools, [is] returning to pre-pandemic routines, even though COVID-19 still exists," Poeske continued. (Bucks County Technical High School) The technical high school reported only one case in the last week. The school still recommends the wearing of face masks, but they are no longer required on buses and indoor settings.
