Description

Press release from the City of Healdsburg: December 15, 2020 Over the past four months our community has supported local families by helping to fund full-day distance learning and childcare for 110 children from 13 different area schools. This support has allowed parents to return to work. Corazón Healdsburg, Healdsburg Unified School District, and Healdsburg Community Services partnered to plan and provide Camp HBG 2.0 Distance Learning Care. The program, hosted at the Healdsburg Community Center, focuses every day on ensuring students have the framework and dedicated staff to be successful. But we need your help: we are seeking additional financial support to continue this program through the Spring 2021 school semester. Your contribution - in any amount - will help make sure no family is turned away from this critical program, regardless of ability to pay. To donate now, please visit www.corazonhealdsburg.org/donate and choose "Camp HBG" in the fund designation drop down menu. For questions or to donate by cash or check, call Dave Jahns at 707-431-3152 or email [email protected]. For more information about Camp HBG 2.0 Distance Learning Care please visit www.cityofhealdsburg.org/camphbg. Our goal is to secure $150,000 in donations and pledges by Wednesday, December 30 so the program can continue when school resumes on January 4.
