SOLON, OH — The Solon Police Department will again host a Coffee with a Cop get-together for the community. The upcoming event will be held at Panera Bread, 6130 Kruse Drive, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on March 19. The meet-and-greet is free to attend. Members of Solon police will be at the coffee shop to chat with residents. There are no speeches or agendas. Residents can ask anything they want of police or simply spend time with the officers. "The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood," police said on the event flyer. "Coffee with a Cop," is a national movement and police departments across the nation participate. To learn more about Coffee with a Cop, visit the movement's website.
