Sig-Alert For Fatal Crash On I-580: CHP

DUBLIN, CA — At least one person has died in a crash on westbound Interstate Highway 580 near the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station, according to the California Highway Patrol. Two lanes of the freeway are currently closed and there is no estimate of when they will reopen. The CHP tweeted, "Use alternate routes of SR-84 to I-680. Thanks for your patience." The crash between a semi truck and motorcycle was first reported at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday. The coroner was called to the crash site around 8:15. Expect significant delays.
