DUBLIN, CA — The City of Dublin is looking for high school juniors or seniors to serve as the student representative to the city's Parks and Community Services Commission for the 2022-23 term.
The Parks and Community Services Commission advises the Dublin City Council "in all matters pertaining to the operation and maintenance of an effective, efficient, and adequate program of parks, recreation, and community services for the citizens of Dublin," according to a city news release.
The Commission normally meets the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m., and commissioners receive $50 for attendance at each meeting.
Applicants must be either a junior or senior in high school during the 2022-23 school year, and a resident of Dublin. The term will run from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
The deadline to apply is Friday, March 25 at 5 p.m. Applicants must provide two signed letters of recommendation. Late applications will not be accepted. Online applications can be found here.
