CLEVELAND — The skeletal remains of a pig briefly halted construction of Sherwin-Williams' new headquarters in downtown Cleveland on Tuesday. Independence Excavating were working near W. 6th Street when the bones were discovered. Construction stopped and Cleveland Police were called to the scene, WKYC reported. The bones were then taken to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner who determined the bones belonged to a pig. Construction should resume as normal. Work on the new headquarters in downtown Cleveland started in late January. The 1 million square foot facility will include a 36-story office towers and a two-story pavilion in Public Square. Construction should be completed in 2024. The company estimated construction would create approximately 4,000 construction jobs.
