Looking for other Musicians who noodle at home

Description

I’m looking for someone(s) who is interested in working on a new project where you aren’t necessarily tied down to one instrument. I used to play guitar with a loud rock group and drums with the opening act and I loved switching it up. My goal would be to have at least a few instrument swaps in each set. Ideally we would put together some originals and covers of fun music in our own style and play out at some point. Not looking for a career or to play every bar in town, but it would be great to get back to playing live at some point. I have a small studio at home and pro gear for Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Keys and would like to get in touch with someone who has the ability to record and work on this project remotely as well as in person. Playing in a room is obviously the best, but with everyones schedules its usually easier to just work on digital tracks self-paced. I think that practice is for at home, learning the music shouldn’t happen collaboratively. Rehearsals are for making sure all the practiced parts fit together nicely. Musical style is semi-open to suggestion, I’m not sure I want to jump into something wildly specific like a “Psychobilly-surf-jazz fusion-with metal influences” kind of thing, more so leaning towards general “rock”. Hard stuff, mellow stuff, simple songs, complex passages, anything that comes across the radar really. Here is a link to my Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/user-30629060 (Search RichardBaggins) The Torch Burner tracks are from a group I played guitar with years back and go about as hard as I’d want to. The other tracks are all ideas for song shapes that I’ve played and recorded at home and more so fit the direction that I’m aiming for. I’m an absolute trash singer and was once described as “not very tuneful, are you?” so lyrics and vocals are something I am completely in the dark about and leave to others. If any of this sounds interesting to you grab a track off of the soundcloud and send over a recording or phone video of you playing. If you have songs, ideas, or progressions that you don’t know how to start or end, I’d be happy to put my spin on it too.
