Vestavia City Council Amends BOE Selection Process

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Vestavia Hills Board of Education members will be selected through a different process after Monday's brief meeting of the Vestavia Hills City Council. The process will be amended to include a stronger vetting process, according to a Vestavia Voice report. Candidates for the BOE will now have to "to exhibit high character and represent the city well," according to the report.
