Job description Requirements and Skills Needed Must be 18 or older with Government ID & US Citizen (Required by AZ Law) Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Detail-oriented and ability to follow precise instructions. Petitions are a legal document. Comfortable approaching strangers in public spaces and asking them to sign a petition. Comfortable working outside on your feet for a full day. Reliable cell phone. What We’re Looking For Experience working on ballot initiatives (signature gathering) a plus, but we will train the right person. Background in sales, retail or customer service is helpful. Veterans strongly encouraged to apply. Priority given to those with a background in petitioning and organizing. Reliable and honest people who want to work for a great cause. Key Duties Collecting signatures to qualify an issue for the ballot. Approaching voters in public places. Turning in signatures for nightly notarization. Petitions are a legal document.
