Building, mechanical and tinkering skills? Help keep people safe in their homes by installing stairlifts. New England Stairlifts & Boston Walk-in Bath are the most respected names in stair and bath safety, serving New England and upstate NY. Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking skilled and highly motivated installers in the Augusta area who will act as the face of our company. This role will be limited to an assigned service radius around Augusta and will focus on straight stairlifts. Independent Stairlift Install and Service Technicians can expect excellent compensation for excellent work, paid training and a flexible schedule, serving in-home clients. Compensation is commensurate with experience. PREFERRED . Preferred 2-3 years experience as a stairlifts installer . Mechanical, carpentry and troubleshooting experience is also acceptable. MUST HAVE - Reliable, insured transportation - Good driving record and current license - Liability insurance - Good eye for excellent workmanship and high quality standards KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Safely transport stairlift equipment and deliver into home. - Installation of straight stairlifts. - Perform routine service and minor repairs of stairlifts. - Occasionally perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnosis and resolution. - Adhere to New England Stairlifts safety, documentation, performance and quality standards and procedures. - Photo document work product and site as necessary. - Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reports. - Maintain good housekeeping and service standards on all client sites. - Interact with and provide pleasant, professional and courteous demonstration and instruction of stairlift use. - Offer/request client reviews of your work and their customer experience.
