Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and instruct employees on the process of cleaning meat processing machines. Must have knowledge on how to use chemicals needed to disinfect machines daily.
Responsible for the daily cleaning of raw processing departments and the weekly, Sunday, cleaning of finished processing and packaging departments.
Meet company and USDA specifications by cleaning and sanitizing machines to ensure that morning production crews can start on time. This may include tasks such as prioritizing, planning and moving quickly and steadily through sanitation duties.
Spray machine parts and equipment with cleaners, sanitizers and hoses.
Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, and other compounds, according to formulas to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing.
Responsible for mixing and dispensing hand sanitizers.
Pre-soak or rinse machine parts or equipment by immersing objects in cleaning solutions or water, manually.
