Ready for a career in construction? The Skilled Trades Preparation (STP) program at SCC prepares you to successfully apply to apprenticeship in the construction trades. STP is an 11-week pre-apprenticeship program, Skilled Trades Preparation (STP). STP is a great option for people interested in doing something hands-on and physical. In this class, you will start by learning about tools and finish with building a mini-house. You will also earn a flagging, OSHA 10 Safety, and First Aid/CPR certifications. STP also teaches students about the apprenticeship and how to be a successful applicant. All this for $25 and tuition assistance is available.
