CURRENTLY HIRING FOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS: EXCAVATOR & BULLDOZER- PERMANENT SITE: ORANGE, TEXAS** PAY: $26-$35/HR WITH OT- WORKING UP TO 50-60 HOURS A WEEK THIS IS A DIRECT-HIRE POSITION!!! OR APPLY IN PERSON AT: 3663 N.SAM HOUSTON PKWY EAST, SUITE.600 HOUSTON,TX 77032 Duties: Operates various items of engineering and automotive equipment in the construction and maintenance of ranges, moving and/or transporting heavy, bulky, and oversized material and equipment. Transports and dispenses fuel as required. Operates engineering equipment such as bulldozers (D-7s, D-8s, or their equivalent), front-end loaders, backhoes, motor graders to clear and grade areas, remove earth, slope banks, dig ditches, and level roadbeds. Uses equipment attachments such as winches, grading blades, and trailblazing blades. Performs operator preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. Operates motor vehicles with responsibility for proper loading, unloading, and performs preventive maintenance. Qualifications: Must have 3 yr. applicable experience. Must possess a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements. UNUSUAL OR SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION Ability to operate, grease, make adjustments, and emergency repairs to heavy equipment. Operates various items of engineering and automotive equipment in construction and maintenance of ranges, move and/or transport heavy, bulky, and oversized material, and equipment. Transports and dispenses fuel as required. The ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, crouch, kneel, reach above shoulder level and climb into or under a vehicle is required (up to 25%). Walking a minimum of 50 yards over rough terrain is required (up to 25%). The ability to push and pull as well as lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required (up to 25%). DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT The ability to work in outside field conditions that include hot and cold extreme temperatures and other outdoor climatic conditions is required (up to 25%). Must be able to work in areas where only portable restroom facilities are available (up to 25%). The work environment may be fast-paced and require work under pressure to meet deadlines associated with the completion of a task. The position will require multiple task efforts.
