I have a four-year-old male blue and gold macaw. His previous owner was very stressful and he is just now starting to grow his feathers back since he’s been rehomed to me. He has been worked with since I’ve had him that way he is more friendly towards people. He’s very good with kids but prefers women over men. Once he is away from his cage he is a lot calmer.
