We have an event that we will be hosting on March 31st from 5 pm - 9 pm. There will likely be 75-150 people in attendance. We are looking for a mobile chair massage person to attend the event and do 10-15 minute massages for the whole night. Since there will be plenty of people that will want this, I imagine you could do 3-5 per hour depending on the time slots we collectively decided on. Because it would be a fully booked night I would want to discuss with you special pricing for our guests. Here is the information for the event below. Please let me know if you might be interested or have any questions. I am going to try to secure a mobile massage person by this Friday the 4th if possible. This could be an amazing opportunity to meet new clients and also secure a repeat spot for our events we will likely be hosting multiple times a year. INFO: This group is for women who care about sustainability, love clothes and like to socialize! Event Name - SWAP (Social Women's Appreciation Party). We are starting with yearly Spring and Fall clothing swaps! Clean out our closets, catch up, have a few snacks and drinks, fall in love with a few recycled clothing items, and then we donate all the rest to others in need. Our goal is to grow this and create a fun and purposeful opportunity for us to effortlessly stay in touch with and show appreciation for the women in our lives by collaborating with others in hosting bi-annual/quarterly social gatherings such as this. Feel free to also participate in the SWAP itself. Some people won’t have anything to bring and leave with bunches and others will bring tons and leave with none. It’s always seemed to work out fine. Sometimes mens, children’s or household items make it in the mix but mostly it ends up being women’s clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. We are also including plants and horse tack (lots of horse girls). In the end, whatever is leftover we have always just donated to different local programs to help the less fortunate. TIMELINES (rough): End of March End of Sept. If we have anyone who would like to do just one and be done or one per year or jump in and out as their schedule allows that is totally fine. Precedence will be given to those who want to continue to participate. The first one is scheduled for March 31st, 2022. MARKETING: A Facebook page has been created. You can invite guests and market the event however you like. We will also do individual posts in the FB group to promote each vendor before every event. Shout out and marketing at event. VENUE: VFW POST 501. It is centrally located for those coming from further North or South. Available weekdays and weekends. Open until 8 pm during the week and 10 pm on weekends. Holds 150-175 people. We would be allowed to cater food and bring water. Soda and alcohol must be purchased through the venue for an additional charge. CATERING: We will provide snacks/apps. SUPPLIES: Please bring your own table, massage chair or whatever else you might need, i.e. marketing materials, inventory, extension cord etc. ENTRY FEE: It will be a ticketed event. The goal is to have approx. 75-150 people for the first event. The event is ticketed and all proceeds will go to local charities. This would get them entry to the event, Food, unlimited clothing, access to vendors, and a chance to win one of a handful of great prizes. We would like for the vendors to donate approximately $50-$100 worth of product as an entry fee for now. For you this could be a free massage or something of the sort. We will giveaway this prize at the event and there will be shout-outs for the vendors as well. ACTION ITEMS: Email response of participation due by Friday, March 4th. Secondly - a partner has created an online marketplace/booking platform that is free to beauty service providers to use to book clients with built-in data analytics, calendar, client reminders, etc. Here is the link if you are interested in learning more. We would want whoever is doing the mobile massage at our event(s) to use this booking platform where we can get the gals who want massages to sign up on the site and then book a "session" at the event.
