Be part of a new COVID-19 vaccine trial and learn how you might be able to protect yourself from the Omicron variant. Recently you may have heard about the emergence of new mutations of the Coronavirus. As Omicron spreads around the world, we are looking for additional volunteers to ensure we are prepared with an effective vaccine for this new variant. By choosing to volunteer, you will represent others like you – in age, gender, race, ethnicity, and from communities like yours. Involving people from all backgrounds will help us to develop an Omicron-based COVID-19 vaccine that is effective for everyone. Do I Qualify? You are being asked to take part in this study because you: 1) Are between 18 and 55 years of age AND 2) Have not had a COVID-19 diagnosis AND EITHER 3a) Have not received any COVID-19 vaccine shots OR 3b) Have received the first two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech (not Moderna or Johnson and Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine and received the second Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine dose between approximately August through November 2021. You will only qualify if you can say yes to items 1, 2, and 3a or items 1, 2, and 3b. Call Now: 1-800-831-8308 ext. 107 - Open: Tuesday - Saturday, 9AM - 6PM If you have never received any COVID-19 vaccine shots, you will receive two shots, one month apart, followed by six visits to our clinic over a 13-month period. If you have received the first two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, you will receive at least one booster dose, and possibly a second one a month later, followed by four more visits to our clinic over a 12-month period. This is what is called an “observer-blinded study”, which means that you and the study doctor will know that you are receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, but you will not know whether you have been randomized to receive one or two doses until your one month follow up visit. Why Participate?  Your chances of getting COVID-19 may be reduced.  All study-related drugs and medical tests will be provided at no cost.  You don’t need to have medical insurance to take part.  Your health will be monitored throughout study by our team of medical professionals.  For your study-related time, effort, and travel, you will be paid up to $170.00 per clinic visit.  You will be paid $5.00 per week for completing weekly illness diary + vaccination diary.  Complimentary pick-up and drop-off service may be available for participants.  Information learned may help fight this pandemic, save lives, and rebuild our global economy.
