Self Storage facility in Medford has an onsite resident management position open. We are looking for an individual that will create a clean, customer friendly and inviting environment to both existing and future customers. We are seeking applicants that are reliable with integrity, and a positive attitude who can perform well with relief staff. This position is a full-time position that is required to live on site in the apartment provided by the company. The storage facility is a drug and smoke fee facility. Successful candidate to provide excellent customer service via face-to-face interactions, telephone, email or text; determining customer's storage needs. Welcome customers in an enthusiastic and professional manner and exceed their expectations by providing them with a positive experience through friendly interaction and knowledgeable guidance. Continue to expand customer base by direct and in-direct marketing, attending and hosting events, community involvement opportunities and Chamber meetings. To maintain a clean facility; inside the office and throughout the facility property, including the property grounds and keeping the storage inventory clean and ready to show ensuring a great customer experience. Day to Day: • Manage and balance daily cash drawer; prepare and make daily deposits. • Workday consists of both customer service and property upkeep. • Contact customers regarding their account, collections and other items. • Provide outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries. • Clean space(s) as vacated, hallways, and grounds. Clean office and restroom daily. • Perform daily manager tasks and duties, unit inventory and facility rounds; confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent. Qualifications: * Customer service experience * Energetic, outgoing, personable * Ability to perform light maintenance and overall property upkeep * Valid driver's license with reliable transportation * Must be available to work weekends when needed * Successful candidates must pass a pre-hire background screening which includes a criminal, DMV, drug test including marijuana and job physical. Compensation: • $14.00 per hour plus performance bonus after 90-days.
