Hello. I'm trying to put together a monthly open mic in Gaylord. I'm still pretty new to the area, and am in desperate need to be a part of a musical community. I really like the idea of an all ages open mic. I love to see people learning music, and I feel like it's very important to have a public outlet for people to express themselves. Getting to play Infront of other people is a great way to keep musicians motivated and continue honing there skills. It would be great if I could go into a venue and say "I have x number people that will come if we have an open mic here" so that they know it will be good for business and give us a place to do it.
