DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department released its latest reports: Joshua King, 22, of Willowbrook, was arrested at 1 p.m. Sunday on charges of motor vehicle theft, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and speeding more than 35 mph over the limit. He was seen speeding on Plainfield Road. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Essien Eduok, 42, of Chicago, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Durham Court on a charge of damage to city property. The suspect was released and given a date to appear in court. Hilari Cruz Miranda, 26, of Bolingbrook, was cited about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 7900 block of Cass Avenue on charges of driving without a valid driver's license and driving with one headlight. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Will Kane, 18, of Darien, was cited shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday at 75th Street and Cass Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and an improper U-turn. Police cited him in response to an accident. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
