Step out of the office and into the play yard! Join our small team of dog professionals in a busy daycare, boarding, and grooming facility. Every day is different, and each day is a new opportunity to learn about dog care, behavior, and language. Balance your workday between supervising different playgroups, learning about grooming, care and cuddles with boarding dogs, cleaning and "housekeeping" across the facility, and minor office work. We encourage all employees to be self-motivated and eager to spend time with the dogs. Set your own tasks throughout the day based on what's going on around the facility, and enjoy the freedom of working with no micro-management in a casual and playful environment. Working with dogs provides both mental and physical exercise, and we value having fun at work. Collaborate on projects and playgroups throughout the day. Experience reading dog body language is helpful, but we provide training to make sure everyone (dogs and people!) are comfortable in our facility. Good team communication skills, organization, and upbeat attitude valued above all else. One weekend day required, weekday hours are flexible but prefer availability late morning to evening.
