SUBJECT: PAID EVENT STAFF – Great Temporary Weekend-Day Job! The North American Grappling Association will be hosting the 2022 NAGA Detroit Grappling Championship this Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Wayne, MI. We are looking to fill various Event Staff positions. Anyone interested in working, please review the information below and can contact us at the information provided. ONLY INTERESTED PARTIES APPLY! LOCATION: Hype Athletics - Wayne Community Center 4635 Howe Rd Western Wayne, MI 48184 DATE/TIME: Friday, March 4th (Setup Day): 5pm-10pm Available to assist in setup. Light lifting Saturday, March 5th (Event Day) 7:45am to 7pm approximately Must be available to work all day. Assist in breakdown of event. POSITIONS: (5-7 Positions) – Please provide your name, contact number and email if you are interested in working. Posting will close upon filling of positions. Please only confirm if you can definitely work as we do not over-staff our events and it is difficult to find last minute replacements. PAY: $15/HR – Paid at conclusion of event via check. (10-16 hrs) LUNCH: We will provide lunch, snacks & water on Saturday. ATTIRE: Comfortable work clothes. (Jeans/Shorts, etc) We will provide a Staff T-Shirt. JOB DESCRIPTION(S): Various positions including, but not limited to the following: Positions will be determined day of event. Training is provided for all positions. All positions assist in Breakdown of Event at conclusion of Tournament. Some lite-to-medium lifting (Less than 50lbs) 1. Ring Coordinators: (Score Keeping & Bracketing- Training Provided). 2. Security: Front Door (Ticket Checking). 3. Weigh-ins MIN REQUIREMENT: 1) Must be available for the entire event. 2) Must provide name & contact information in advance. 3) Must arrive by stated time. 4) Must be able to perform any of the job functions as stated above. 5) Must be motivated.6) Must have reliable transportation
