We are a growing industrial manufacturer that is seeking an experienced or entry level service technician to join our tight knit team! This is a salaried position with generous bonus/commission schedule based on project billings. It is an exciting profession that affords you the ability to travel the United States and occasional foreign travel. Responsibilities include commissioning new combustion equipment, commissioning new control systems, repair and replacement of existing equipment, field testing of existing equipment, and troubleshooting existing equipment. The travel is about 80-90% of the time and we do need an individual that can be flexible as occasional weekends and short notice travel is required. Along with a flexible schedule, we would like for this individual to have electrical or combustion experience, troubleshooting experience, and strong interpersonal skills. An ideal candidate: • Minimum (2) years experience in the industrial environment • Willing to travel 80% – 100% of the week, sometimes on short notice. Travel is mostly within North America but some international travel may occur. • Have a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport • Be able to stand up to the physical requirements of a manufacturing job, i.e. lift over 50lbs, work longer hours, be on your feet for a long time, etc. • Good interpersonal and customer relation skills • Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills • Good organizational skills i.e. keeping track of expenses and a company credit card • Self motivated and the ability to work independently and without direction • Supply at least (3) active references.
