Technology Services Associate Do you love helping people with technology? We are looking for a friendly, customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Technology Services Associate. This position will work at a public service desk in our Technology Center and assist customers using our computers, printers, and scanners. Good communication skills, experience with technology, and patience are key attributes for this position. In this role you will: Help customers with using library computers, printers, and other equipmentAssist customers with techniques using the internet, databases and softwareAssist customers with their own personal devicesPerform initial troubleshooting of computers, laptops, devices and equipmentHelp maintain and assist customers with the library’s collection of circulating devicesThis position will work 3-4 shifts per week including every other Saturday and one Sunday a month. Each shift is between 4 and 5 hours. Flexibility to work in the morning, afternoon, or night is preferred. The starting pay is $13.99 per hour. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentOne-year computer experience in a work or educational environmentTwo years' experience working with the publicThe Indian Prairie Public Library District is located in Darien Illinois serving 42,000 residents in the communities of Darien, Willowbrook and Burr Ridge.
