New position available 3/1. Hiring ASAP. Paid training available. Installation & Service Technician This individual will be responsible for helping out in the shop and in the field; performing service, repair, and installation of home accessibility products, and provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of their equipment. --Duties & Responsibilities Install home accessibility products including but not limited to: stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, overhead patient lifts, and door openers Troubleshoot & diagnose problems and perform repairs and service on home accessibility products Be willing to learn and diagnose problems and perform repairs on mobility equipment (wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers), as needed We travel all over Western Oregon. We have many customers in Southern Oregon and on the Southern Coast. Overnight stays (lodging & meals provided) will occasionally happen. On rare occasions, a weekend day may be required. Other duties as assigned --Qualifications & Skills Ability to apply concepts of basic math Ability to read a tape measure Ability to use hand tools Ability to identify different bolt sizes --Physical Requirements The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be willing and able to work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. This position is an opportunity for long-term stability.
