Clarke's Sheet Metal is an established manufacturing company founded in 1952. Our steel fabrication facility utilizes a CNC plasma burn table, press brakes, plate and structural steel rolls, saws, iron workers and a machine shop. The equipment, which is manufactured, is used primarily for the collection, handling and storage of wood by-products. The majority of the equipment is sold to primary and secondary wood product manufacturers. We employ skilled employees with years of experience in the trade and are currently accepting application to fill our clean-up/shop helper position. Candidates must be self-motivated and hard-working. Applicants must be able to: Work on their feet all day. Move items up to 30 pounds continuously and between 30-75 pounds occasionally. Know how to use a pallet jack. Be able to maintain a clean, safe environment for all shop personnel. Be willing and able to work overtime if needed. Duties will include, but not limited to, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows, painting, emptying garbage, helping build pallets, building small parts, helping move material, etc... Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Good communication skills are a must and potential cross-training and promotions may become available.
