Hiring urgently! We are seeking a sales assistant to help with photo and video sales for a dance competition in Carmel, IN from March 10th - 13th. Retail experience and a background in dance are a plus. Please note that proof of vaccination is required, thank you. Event date: March 10th - March 13th (Thursday to Sunday) Theater: Tarkington Theater Location: 3 Carter Green, Carmel, IN 46032 Hours: Thursday 3/10: 11am-7pm (Approx 7 hours) Friday 3/11: 9:30am-8:30pm (Approx 10 hours) Saturday 3/12: 9:30am-7:30pm (Approx 9 hour) Sunday 3/13: 9:30am-7:00pm (approx 8.5 hours) You will have 30 min meal breaks and 15 min breaks. Compensation: $600 for the gig (Approx $17.40 per hour). Paid in cash on the last day of the event. Lunch is provided at the event. The sales assistant will provide administrative support to sales and other duties as assigned. - Assist customers with photo previews - Check customer order info for accuracy and completeness - Process credit card payments using a Square POS system - Provide excellent customer service - Help select ballet/dance images for sample slideshow Qualifications: Strong communication and problem-solving skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Apple devices and tech-savvy Ballet/Dance background is a plus Must have reliable transportation to and from the venue.
