Description

Looking for musicians for jam sessions. Concept: get together with 1-4 other people who have an interest in progressing your personal musical abilities as well as express yourselves through your instruments. I’m not looking to start a band, nothing to commit to aside from a specific night of the week etc. I’m asking for people with a general grasp of music theory and ability. A want to learn your craft and progress your knowledge and ability. Thinking of this as another exercise. My personal concept (although not tied to this and would like to be flexible to anyone with ideas) is jam. Utilizing a specific songs chord structure as a vehicle for exploration while returning to chorus/verse to gain structure and work on timing and changes with other people. Basically jam some tracks or even chord changes we may all know and if not then something that isn’t going to take a long time to figure out. Im thinking classic rock stuff GD, Pink Floyd, Doors etc fun stuff but I’m open. Not looking for alternative, punk, emo, mopey Also looking for GP area, Medford is kind of far to keep this casual. I also don’t have a spot to do this right this second so if you have a chill jam space that’s a double plus. Im not wanting to run this by any means I’m just putting out feelers for like minded people, on the same token I’m not into ego or authority so don’t bring it please. I play keys/synthesizers. In a pinch I can cover bass and theoretically can provide some form of drums but a drummer would be sooo much better Not looking for people who have wrapped their identity around politics or religion. If you are interested in that stuff you know how to keep it to yourself. Not wanting hard drug users or shade balls. Some weed and whatnot is just fine. Maybe this could be awesome, maybe nothing, who knows Hit me up if interested and let me know some basics and we’ll go from there
