APPLY NOW - applications can be submitted directly on our website or reply to this ad - please include your name, email and phone number We are currently have an immediate Seasonal Merchandiser opportunity working as a service vendor in the garden center of a major home improvement store. The starting salary is $15/hr. Work is between 2-4 stores within ~30-40 mile radius - stocking plants, watering, setting up displays in the garden center, assisting with deliveries of new merchandise, etc. This position involves physically demanding OUTDOOR work. Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel between stores. Locations you'll be servicing: Alpharetta, Dawsonville, Cumming Hours: 40 hrs/week Must be able to work Saturdays. Work is 5 days/wk, off Sundays and Thursdays Payrate: $15/hr Start IMMEDIATELY QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: • Stocking shelves/tables with merchandise • Merchandising product according to planogram • Move products from outside area to sales floor and/or Garden Center • Discard old product, refresh plants • Accurately generate and place pricing and signage • Follow established safety rules • Keep area clean - sweep, etc. • Taking photos, counting inventory and completing surveys MINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to: • remain standing and/or walking unassisted for several hours at a time • lift, push or pull 50-70 lbs or more on a regular basis, sometimes above head, repeatedly • continuously bend up and down, reach in all directions and have unlimited upper body mobility • communicate daily with direct supervisor, store associates and customer • tolerate outdoor weather conditions: rain, wind, cold and heat • Minimum age 18 years old • Must have reliable transportation to travel between stores We are looking for someone with a great attitude, who's a strong team player, is respectful and shows up to work on time every day.
