Delivery Helper Job Hello, and thank you for clicking on this job posting. We are Gaston & Powell LLC and we have an opening for an appliance delivery helper in Alpharetta for Home Depot. The job is pretty simple but it requires the proper knowledge and strength to get it done. Typically we'd arrive at the Home Depot warehouse in Alpharetta between 5:30am and 6:00am and get loaded up for the day. Then we would set out on a predetermined route. This route could consist of anything between 10 to 15 stops per day in local cities around Atlanta. Then it's a matter of delivering the appliances and installing them in an orderly fashion and at a quick pace. We fully expect to be done with the routes and back at the warehouse between 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm depending on the route. Prior appliance knowledge and experience is strongly recommended but applicants have the ability to learn on the job. Duties and Responsibilities ** Delivery Helper - 650 per week** Morning shift... working 5-6 days per week. Must be on time, no exceptions. Location: Alpharetta Ga Deliver/Install Appliances (Microwaves, Range, Dishwashers, Refrigerators, Washer & Dryers) Perform the following tasks using tools, with or without reasonable accommodation: Able to get in and out of the truck and walk up and down stairs, driveways, etc. throughout your shift. Must be able to assemble appliances prior to entering the home Load truck with appliances every morning Must be able to heavy lift with shoulder dolly Basic Requirements: Eligible to work in the U.S At least 18 years of age Must be able to pass background check (Customer requirement) Must have reliable transportation to truck/warehouse Must be able to pass a drug test Appliance knowledge Tool knowledge Customer service skills
