I have 2 female chihuahuas I am fostering. They were going to be euthanized bc their owners were moving. It’s been a few days and I can see their personality. They are a mother and daughter duo. I think what is best for them is to be rehomed separate. The mother doesn’t let the daughter eat or drink unless she has had her fill. I’ve done 2 bowls and regardless the daughter won’t eat till the mom just lays down and is done. I’ve separated them and she’s completely different. She’s happy. They are not very trusting of other people. So it will take some time for them to warm up to you. I will be picky for who they go to bc this is their second chance. And I don’t want them to rehomed again. I want them to have a forever home. Please text with questions.
