Tool Rentals by Durants is looking for an experienced mechanic to repair and service our fleet of heavy equipment. We are offering a full time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Job description:
- This mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, perform diagnostics and make repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet primarily includes Earth Moving Machines, Aerial Work Platforms, Wood Chippers and General Construction Tools and Equipment.
- Make road calls in company service vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading, as well as training them on safe and proper use of equipment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
-May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.
-Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills
-Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills
-Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel and gas equipment
- Clean drivers license
