Crash Kills 1 In Washington County Thursday

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN —One man was killed Thursday evening in a car crash in West Lakeland. At 6:20 p.m., Washington County Sheriff deputies responded to the collision involving a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle in the area of Manning Avenue North and 22nd Street North. Upon arrival, the driver of the passenger vehicle was unresponsive. Deputies, with the assistance of Bayport Rescue and Lakeview medics, attempted life saving measures. Due to the extent of the injuries, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is being investigated by the Washington County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of the Minnesota State Patrol.
