Local small business seeking an attorney for a damages and loss of wages case against commercial landlord. Business was ILLEGALLY evicted two hours after I pressed charges for sexual battery. Resulting in landlord also holding ALL equipment hostage inside as locks were changed within an hour of leaving November 15, 2021. What tools I did receive back, 2 months later, were intentionally damaged. I have video proof. His actions in retaliation caused a mental breakdown and subsequent 5 day stay in a psychiatric hospital two hours away from home. We’ve had an attempted poisoning of our dogs at home, he’s threatened me with lawsuit unless I drop charges, he’s bribed me with taking over mortgage (of a building he doesn’t own) to drop charges. I refuse. So far attorneys have told me they can’t help me, they aren’t qualified and one even said “I don’t think she can handle a case of this magnitude”.
